Banff Wedding Limo and Guest Transport from Calgary
A limo for the couple, a van for the guests, and everyone at the venue on time. We handle wedding transport between Calgary and Banff.
Wedding Transport That Doesn’t Become Your Problem
A mountain wedding has moving parts a city wedding doesn’t: a drive of an hour and a half from Calgary, a venue that may sit across town from the hotel, and guests flying in from out of province. A Banff wedding limo and a guest shuttle plan close those gaps. The couple travels in comfort, and nobody is left hunting for a taxi in their good shoes.
A typical Banff wedding day involves a ceremony at a hotel such as the Fairmont Banff Springs, a reception somewhere along Banff Avenue and photos by the Bow River, and the timeline slips in predictable ways. Marrying in Calgary and celebrating in the mountains? Give us both addresses. Our Calgary wedding limo page explains how we handle full-day bookings in the city.

Planning the Timeline
Work backward from the ceremony. Banff is about an hour and a half from Calgary, so for a 4 p.m. ceremony the couple should leave a Calgary hotel by early afternoon once you add dressing, photos and a buffer. Guests staying in the city need their own departure window, often 30 to 45 minutes ahead of the couple.
Photo stops add the most uncertainty. Sunrise and golden-hour shoots are popular, but the light moves faster than people expect and the park gets busy in July and August. Send us a rough shot list and we’ll tell you how many minutes each stop realistically needs. Winter weddings need extra margin, since snow can slow the highway.
Photo Stops and Extras for a Banff Wedding
Golden-Hour Portraits
Evening light turns the peaks warm and the crowds thin out. We can time the drive so you arrive at your spot just as the light improves.
Lake Louise Photos
About 45 minutes from Banff, with a classic lakeshore backdrop. Worth adding if your photographer has time. See our Lake Louise car hire page.
Moraine Lake Sunrise
A famous sunrise spot, but road access has changed in recent seasons. We confirm what’s allowed for your date before you plan the shot.
Bow Lake
Quieter than the big names and far enough away that it suits an elopement or a small group.
The Day After: Banff Gondola
Guests staying a few days often ride the Banff Gondola the next morning. We can collect the group and drop them back at the hotel.
Calgary Hotel Pickups
Many wedding parties stay in Calgary the night before. We collect the couple, the wedding party and out-of-town guests from their hotels.
Book Now
Timeline First
We plan the day backward from the ceremony start, then confirm a pickup time for each vehicle with you.
A Car for the Couple
A sedan, SUV or stretch limo for the couple, with a chauffeur who handles doors, dress and bags.
Vans and SUVs for Guests
Guests travel in vans of up to 14 or SUVs of up to 5, so the group arrives together instead of in a string of taxis.
A Clear Written Quote
Your quote covers the vehicles, the hours and the stops. Wedding bookings need a 50% non-refundable deposit, and the balance schedule is in our terms and conditions.
Weather Backup Planning
Mountain weather turns fast. We watch forecasts and road reports for your date and talk through options early if conditions look bad.
A Real Person on the Day
Call (587) 216-1319 any time. If the photographer runs late or the ceremony starts early, we adjust.
How We Run a Wedding Booking
Start with a call or the quote form. Tell us the date, the ceremony and reception locations, how many people need rides and roughly when you want to leave. We send a quote and talk the timeline through with you.
On the day, chauffeurs arrive early in clean vehicles and wait out of the way while photos happen. We keep an eye on the clock so the schedule doesn’t slip without anyone noticing.
Wedding party spread across the Bow Valley? See our Canmore wedding limo and Lake Louise wedding limo pages for those routes.
Clean Cars, Calm Drivers
Vehicles are cleaned before each booking, and chauffeurs take it slow around gowns, suits and photo sessions. Nobody rushes the doors.
Banff Wedding Limo Questions
How far ahead should we book?
As early as you know your date. Summer and early fall weekends tend to go first. If your wedding is close, call and we’ll tell you what’s still available.
Can you carry the whole wedding party?
Yes. A stretch limo takes up to 12, a van up to 14 and SUVs up to 5, or we can combine vehicles. Tell us the headcount and we’ll suggest a mix.
Do you drive from Calgary or only within Banff?
Both. Many couples start in Calgary and finish in Banff, and we also take Banff-only bookings. Give us the pickup and drop-off addresses and we’ll price the route.
What deposit do you take for weddings?
Wedding bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The balance and cancellation terms are set out in our terms and conditions, so please read them before booking.
Can we stop for photos on the way?
Yes. Tell us where and for how long, and we build it into the schedule. Stops inside the national park may need a Parks Canada pass, which we’ll mention in your quote.
Can the vehicle be decorated?
Ask us first. Small decorations can often be arranged, but it depends on the vehicle, so check with us before you buy anything.
